Raytown Central School
District Lighting Survey
Susan Dee Associates, as subcontractor to Novus Engineering, P.C. conducted a survey of 14 elementary, middle and vocational schools for the Raytown Central School District. The total School District area exceeded 1 million square feet.
Data was collected, evaluated and compiled in order to develop an energy-efficient strategy for decreasing energy costs.
Our recommendations focused on the installation of occupancy sensors, some fixture changes, modifications to existing fixtures, and measures to reduce lighting hours. A database was developed to calculate energy savings, construction costs and payback. This project was a major portion of a larger energy performance contract.
