Clifford Wassell, CEMCliff Wassel

Clifford is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers. He has over 30 years experience in the delivery and management of energy technical projects aimed at reducing operating expenses and improving the energy efficiency of large facilities. He has 25 years experience in New York State government. He also started and operated three Albany engineering offices after the close of the New York State Energy Office on April 1, 1995.
Among the many complex studies conducted by Clifford during his long tenure, he performed an energy study for COOP City, Bronx, New York. COOP City contains over 15,000 dwellings plus commercial space and an extensive power plant.

As Senior Engineer at a number of engineering firms, including Parsons Brinkerhoff, EME Group, and, as Vice President, at Joseph R. Loring and Associates, Clifford trained and supervised staff to conduct energy assessments, prepare reports, calculate energy savings, and create representative computer models showing building energy usage. He supervised the conduct of numerous energy studies for commercial buildings, multi-family complexes, college campuses, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and industrial facilities.
